Student Image Consent
1. Rationale:
Photographic images or video footage may be taken of students or their work for the purpose of educating students or promoting the school.
2. Parent Consent
When enrolling a student for the first time, parents/guardians/caregivers are asked to complete the Visual Image and Offsite Activities section of the Enrolment Form and Information Card. Parents are requested to indicate any restrictions for this section of the form. Parents may change their consent at any time by contacting the school.
3. Publication of Student Images
Images of students or their work may or may not be labelled with student names. Publications may include school newsletters, websites and prospective student guides. Images may also be provided to The Narrogin Observer newspaper, but parents will be informed and consent obtained on each occasion.
4. Checking for Student Consent
Staff will check the Student Information System database to establish consent and restrictions before publishing any images of students.
