The Narrogin Senior High School Sports Academy Presentation will be held on Friday 2 December in the High School Gymnasium, commencing at 1.30pm. We have been fortunate to secure Mr Brad Ness (formerly from Wagin) who recently represented Australia in the Paralympics as our guest speaker.
Bradley John “Brad” Ness, OAM is an Australian wheelchair basketballer and captain of the Australian Rollers, he was also the Australian Flag Bearer at the recent 2016 Paralympics in Rio.
Please join us to celebrate the acheivements of our Sports Academy students and listen to Brad’s journey. Some of his highlights are that he won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing and silver medals at 2004 Athens and 2012 London Paralympics. He was selected as the Australian flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
The P&C will be holding a Meet and Greet on Tuesday 14 February commencing at 5.30pm in the Trade Training Centre, nibbles and light refreshments will be available. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Summer Carnival will be held at the Narrogin Leisure Centre commencing at 8.30am and finishing at 3pm. Forms need to be returned to the Front Office by Tuesday 21 February. If you do not have a form please click on the below link.
We will be holding the Academy Cup for those students doing Sports Academy. This will be held at the Narrogin Leisure Centre during periods 2 and 3.
For current Year 10 students going into Year 11 next year who attend the Residential College, we will be holding a parent information session on Friday 2 June at 1.30pm in the Residential College Rec Room.
For all other current Year 10 students your parent information session will be on Thursday 8 June in the Trade Training Centre commencing at 6.30pm.
YEAR 10 PARENT INFORMATION NIGHT
We will be holding an information night for current Year 10 students going into Year 11 on Thursday 8 June in the Trade Training Centre commencing at 6.30pm.
For students who attend the Residential College your parent information session will be on Friday 2 June at 1.30pm in the Residential College Rec Room.
