The awards celebrate the success and achievements of our Sports Academy students.
The presentation will commence at 1.45pm and finish at approximately 3pm.
The key note speaker and special guest is one of the most recognisable sportswomen, netballer Ms Caitlin Bassett. Caitlin is the Australian Diamonds and West Coast Fever goal shooter and was awarded the Liz Ellis Diamnond for Australian Netballer of the Year 2015.
Afternoon tea will be provided for parents/carers.
There will be a school social for years 7 to 10 tomorrow night. Tickets are available for purchase at recess and lunch time near the uniform shop. You will not be able to go unless you have returned your medical form.

Skills West Expo is Western Australia’s leading, largest and most attended careers event that enables visitors to explore real job opportunities, tertiary and VET course options, find traineeships, apprenticeships and plan new career pathways. Hosted in partnership with the State Government and The West Australian, Skills West Expo showcases the largest range of employers, industry bodies, and accredited educators from across the State. Skills West Expo is free for all visitors to attend and will be held on 12-14 August, 2016 at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event attracts more than 9,000 students, graduates, job seekers and career changers across three days. Put simply, Skills West Expo is the leading event to inform and educate visitors about real career pathways and opportunities that exist within all industries.

The Year 12 Students will be having a Farewell Dinner to be held in the Hilltop Cafe commencing at 6.30pm. All forms and payment need to be returned to the front office. Students are to make their own way to the event.
The students of Narrogin Senior High School invite you to the Annual Visual Art & Media Exhibition at the Nexis Gallery. Opening Night is Thursday 20 October from 6pm-8pm. The exhibition will run from 21 October – 13 November showcasing work from our Years 7 – 12 students.
We are chasing volunteers to help man the exhibit from 10am – 1pm and 1pm – 4pm Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday 1pm – 4pm. If you are able to help please contact the Arts Dept on 9881 9328.
We will be holding the Year 12 Graduation in the Narrogin Senior High School Gymnasium on Friday 21 October 2016. The ceremony will commence at 7.30pm. Cherished Imagery will be available to take photos, bookings need to be made at the front office by Thursday 20 October at 3pm, and payment of $35 needs to be made on the night. Photos include one 5×7 student portrait and one 5×7 student and parent portrait, bookings are limited. At the conclusion of the ceremony a light supper will be provided in the Narrogin Senior High School Hilltop Cafe.
The Narrogin Senior High School Sports Academy Presentation will be held on Friday 2 December in the High School Gymnasium, commencing at 1.30pm. We have been fortunate to secure Mr Brad Ness (formerly from Wagin) who recently represented Australia in the Paralympics as our guest speaker.
Bradley John “Brad” Ness, OAM is an Australian wheelchair basketballer and captain of the Australian Rollers, he was also the Australian Flag Bearer at the recent 2016 Paralympics in Rio.
Please join us to celebrate the acheivements of our Sports Academy students and listen to Brad’s journey. Some of his highlights are that he won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing and silver medals at 2004 Athens and 2012 London Paralympics. He was selected as the Australian flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
